TT#15: Thirteen favorite demotivators

.
When I was hunting through my hard disk for some photos recently I stumbled upon some graphics from long long ago that still made me smile. Back in the days when I was still working in an office and every day feared my head might explode from sheer boredom I found a website named www.despair.com. It literally saved my sanity for a while – until I found other things to while away the day with.
And I am glad to report that it still exists. Extraordinary, really.
Well, and since I live to make other people smile, too (hard to believe, innit?) I’d like to share some of my favorites with you this week. It was very hard to narrow down the choice to only 13, but there you are:

I am aware that this meme is actually about getting to know the blog author better, but honestly: my choice of the topic and my choice among those 50 or so posters that are available probably tells volumes about my outlook on life. In case you’re interested, my favorites of those I listed here are FEAR and LIMITATIONS. They just never fail to make me giggle. Go figure. ;o)

That is a GORGEOUS sailboat pic!!!
I think my favorite of those is procrastination. I’ll have to go check the site out.
Mine is about another time-waster-
I’m supposed to pick a favorite??? HOW???
No apologies for such a fun list, Samulli. Anything that makes me smile’s a winner in my book.
Happy TT!
I absolutely love these, especially since we have the “real ones” in our conference room. When I look at those, I smile because I am thinking of the despair ones. Now how cynical is that? Thanks for the smile tonight!
Hey- I shared some link love with you tonight, albeit in a round about way…..
ROTFLMAO! I wonder if the “Pretension” one comes in a coffee mug? If so, I’ve got to get one for my DH since that sums up the attitude that he has to deal with all day long!
haha, nice!! =) happy tt!
These are amazing and very inspirational. Thanks for posting. Happy TT.
Now that’s the sort of inspiration I need. “Laziness” and “Ineptitude”—those are totally me.
I love those, thanks for sharing! Your TT header is great too.
My TT lists 13 things I can’t (or don’t want to…) live without.
Thanks for the reminder about that site, it is worth remembering.
happy T13
I found a site with those through stumbleupon the other day and I jus laughed and laughed. I love them. Demotivators. Snort.
These are very funny! We have some of these pictures hanging around our office, but not of the sarcastic, funny variety…just the supposed motivational variety. C’mon…why can’t we just hang pictures of Brad Pitt or Matt Damon all over the office! Now that’s motivation!
I love demotivators. I have my favorites in my office (got a bunch of cards from Powell’s technical shop last time I was in Portland):
Motivation: if a pretty picture and a cute saying are all it takes to motivate you, you probably have a very easy job. The kind robots will be doing soon.
I also have the demotivators as my office computer screen saver. Hee hee.
These are so great!!!
Thanks for sharing.
Be well and enjoy the day.

I am a big fan of Indifference, the poster as well as the outlook. Though the wish one is very funny too.
My favorite always has been and always will be the procrastination one.
I love despair.com, unfortunately my boss doesn’t find it very funny.
At my previous job those despair.com posters were a sanity saver for me too. Happy TT.
I love these — I could spend hours looking at the different ones on their site. My husband’s favorite is “Meetings.”
I love these demotivational posters! Happy TT.
Ok there is NO WAY I can pick a favorite from those. They’re all so great. Thanks for the smile!
Huggles,
