The ugliest cat I’ve ever seen
I don’t wanna be mean here, but honestly: how sick are people who breed something beautiful like a cat into such a horrific looking creature?
I’m sure I’m gonna have nightmares tonight. I’m trying hard to feel sorry for the poor little devil, but it looks just disgusting and repulsive.
BTW, I found the picture on the companion site of the one I mentioned in my last post. This one has all animal photos - not quite as stunning as the landscapes, but there are some nice ones, too.
There is also a site with portraits, one with glamour photos (whatever that may be exactly) and one with nude pictures belonging to this strange conglomerate as well. All mainly by russian photographers as far as I can see. I have only cursory glanced at all of them so far. The nude pics didn’t impress me all that much. What I saw so far looked pretty generic, apart from a few exceptions. Glamour shots don’t interest me at all. The portraits seem to be pretty good, though. I’ll have to check them out in more depth later.

Awww poor kitty. It’s not his fault. Although I agree sans-fur is not a good look for a cat.

I really don’t blame the cat. As usual stupid people are the problem here. I’m sure, if the cat had had any say in the matter he would’ve chosen to look like a proper kitty, not something out of a freakshow that is only good for scaring little kids.

Oh, it’s a Sphynx! They are wonderful cats, I’m told. But, go figure, they get cold easily.

They naturally don’t have furs. It’s the sphynx variety. I know a blogger that keeps a Sphynx or come couple of them.

Hey Grace,
uhm, I beg to differ regarding the “naturally not having fur” thing. A breed like that doesn’t just turn up one day. They were bred like that. By people who thought it would be fun to have a cat without fur. And, sorry, but that is just wrong on so many levels.
And even if they are the sweetest tempered cats ever (which I just refuse to believe), they are still butt-ugly looking little freaks that wouldn’t be able to survive a day out in the wild. To me breeding is supposed to enhance the survival fitness of animals. That thing there is evolutionwise just trash. Cats were never supposed to look like that.
(The same goes for those ugly hairless dogs, by the way. I’m not only bashing cat breeders here.)
