The joys of younger men

This guy is just so incredibly cute, that each week I can’t wait for Thursday and a new episode of Numb3rs.

And that is noteworthy why? Because the boy is 3 years younger than me, which makes him a good 15 years younger than the guys I am usually interested in. Plus, on Numb3rs he plays a mathematician, which to me is a profession usually decidedly unsexy, yet he pulls it off. Amazing, really.

I saw him first in The Santa Clause” sometime in the 90s, when he was just a teenager (cutest elf I know of besides Legolas and Haldir, especially with this hat he was wearing all the time). I couldn’t fucking believe it when they cut off his beautiful curly hair for “10 things I hate about you”. Luckily, in “Serenity” he was back to his own lovely self, and now in Numb3rs he is looking just adorable.

One of the unfair things in this world is that men often get more and more attractive the older they get. David is definitely one of them. Since I saw him the first time more than 10 years ago he has gotten better looking every year. Plus, he is quite a good actor, so I am fairly certain I can look forward to see a lot more of him on screen in the years to come.

I can’t wait to see what he will be like when he is forty. Or fifty…

(And I really should get those DVDs one of these days.)

  1. Men age like wine and women age like cheese..eewww. Think of blue cheese, hard cheese, overly soft, saggy cheese…one word: pasteurized. :-)

  2. By the way, he is indeed cute and with these pics, seems that he is talking in front of you!

  3. Yeah, the pictures must have come from some interview or something. Unfortunately I can’t remember anymore where I originally found them. But he is a cutie. :)

  4. Oh, and by the way: this cheese comparison? Gross. LOL
