Thanks for the link to etsy. I never would have known what it was if you hadn’t included that. I think it’s great that you have worn a piece of jewellery since you left NZ. Rather like never taking off a wedding ring!

I am the opposite of you, I love jewelry, but only fashion jewlery with semi precious stones and I have a lot which I bought over the years in Egypt. There is everything, Hermatite, turquoise, corals, quartz, citrines, lapis lazuli etc. It is very cheap there.

I love Etsy. I have ordered from there for quite some time. I really want one of those decals that looks like a dandilion with the little flowers being blown into the wind. My little girl has one in her room of some princess quote.

I tried to email this reply to you, but it bounced back to me. so here it is:

Yes, I am “scarily organized. LOL I have never quite put it that way, but it does hit it on the head!

Yes, I plan a menu two weeks at a time. I plan out a meat, chicken,fish, vegetarian, and soup/sandwich meal each week.Every Friday we order pizza. One night we do “clean out the refrigerator night”(or CORN on my meal plan. I do run to the local grocery store for any dairy or fruit I run out of in the two weeks. But for a short 40 min drive to the commissary, I can save a bundle of $$$.

Many times I do a cook once, use twice concept. If I grill chicken, I grill enough to make quesadillas or throw in a soup later in the week. Things like that….
