Baby, did you forget to take your meds?

I just discovered Placebo.
Well, not just right this minute - it was a week or so ago. But the thing is, meanwhile I got five of their CDs and I am wondering how they could escape my notice for such a long time?
I mean, of course I had heard of them before, I probably even heard the odd single now and then in the radio (usually without realizing it was them, because they fucking never mention what they are just playing nowadays). But it wasn’t until I heard “The bitter end” and “Song to say good-bye” repeatedly (and I mean, like a few dozen times or so), that I started to get interested in finding out what else there might be to find on their CDs.
Well, surprisingly, there was plenty. Surprisingly for me, because I rarely find a whole CD of anybody worth listening to - much less 5 of them. Of course, here too, there was the odd song that I didn’t care about (”Taste in men” for instance), but or the most part they’re really great.
So great, in fact, that my playlist at the moment is made up entirely of Placebo songs. And I have been looking for a concert I could go to - which shows a very great deal of obsession on my part, because I am not a big concert-goer per se. So, is it fate that they are actually gonna do 4 concerts in Germany this summer?
