Etsy Finds – Week 22-2009

posted on Tuesday, May, 26th, 2009 in etsy finds

This week I have a mixed bag of goodies again. Themed editions are not really fitting for everything as it turns out.

Hand-printed clothes, mostly shirts, with quite interesting designs. I like quite a few of them, although on me they probably wouldn’t look half as good as on that worrisomely thin model.

Minus

Stylish bags in all kinds of colors and tpyes: messenger bags, shopping bags, handbags and whathaveyou. That kind of understated design never gets old and goes with pretty much anything. And I like the natural colors.

Petit Plat Miniatures

Ok, this is wildly unusual for me. I don’t play with dollhouses (except the one on FOX on Fridays) and I totally abhor cluttering up my shelves with useless little trinkets.

But these awesomely cute food miniatures could tempt even me. Look at all the other photos in the shop as well. They are so teeny, tiny cute, but intricately crafted. I really don’t know how she makes them. For some of these details you need eagle-eyes, not to mention a rock-steady hand.

I’m not sure if I would really wanna walk around with salmon-steak earrings, but the idea is certainly funny.

L & B Accessories

More bags, but the thing that drew me here were the wallets. Unfortunately I bought a new leather wallet only 2 years ago, so I really have no need for a new one, but I think my mom definitely could use one of them.

Art Mind

I have mentioned that shop before, but I thought it couldn’t hurt to list it again. The artist started a project called 99 feelings and made 99 of these little figurines, each one representing a different feeling.

I just find them endlessly cute and I would love to collect the whole set. But considering the (completely justified) prices I will probably have to settle for one or two at the most. It’s bloody hard to decide which ones, though.
