The ugliest cat I’ve ever seen
I don’t wanna be mean here, but honestly: how sick are people who breed something beautiful like a cat into such a horrific looking creature?
I’m sure I’m gonna have nightmares tonight. I’m trying hard to feel sorry for the poor little devil, but it looks just disgusting and repulsive.
BTW, I found the picture on the companion site of the one I mentioned in my last post. This one has all animal photos - not quite as stunning as the landscapes, but there are some nice ones, too.
There is also a site with portraits, one with glamour photos (whatever that may be exactly) and one with nude pictures belonging to this strange conglomerate as well. All mainly by russian photographers as far as I can see. I have only cursory glanced at all of them so far. The nude pics didn’t impress me all that much. What I saw so far looked pretty generic, apart from a few exceptions. Glamour shots don’t interest me at all. The portraits seem to be pretty good, though. I’ll have to check them out in more depth later.

Landscapes galore
If you like landscape photography at all, go and check it out. I just spent the last half hour going through their complete archives and I must say I’m pretty impressed.
A lot of the contributing photographers have russian-sounding names, so I guess most of the photos are from roughly that region as well. But some of those pictures look like they were taken somewhere in New Zealand - which, coming from me, is a huge compliment.
In Praise of Horses
My favorite photography website is photo.net, where I love to spend ages looking through the galleries and admiring the artistry of some photographers. I’d like to showcase the work of some of the ones who impressed me most in a new series here.
I will start with Wojtek Kwiatkowski, whose horse photos just blew me away.
I love horses, especially arabs. This man’s photos not only look like exquisite paintings that you would love to frame and hang up on your walls, they also perfectly capture the spirit of these beautiful animals.

Dog content
How come evey other blog has cat content up to its ears, but almost nobody is posting pictures of their dogs? Do dog owners not blog? Or do they just not photograph their pets?
Well, whatever the reason. I’m gonna go ahead and post the products of a little impromptu photo session with my baby anyway.
I know they’re not the worlds best pictures. I am still fiddling around trying to figure out the settings on my new-ish camera. It’s gonna be a while before my photos with this one are gonna be as nice as the ones taken with the old one.
But at least Jenny is a much more patient model than Tessy, our last dog, was. Well, Jen has practice in modelling for me, after all she has done it since she was the cutest puppy in the world.
