Everybody lies

Found that one at Fond of Snape and following Janet’s suggestion I consider myself tagged. ;o)

01. If you could have super powers what would they be and what
would you do with them? (Please feel free to be selfish, you do not
have to save the world!).
That’s a hard decision. Mind-reading would be great, but making myself invisible would come a close second.

02. Were you to find yourself stranded on an island with a CD
player…it could happen…what would your top 10 bloggers island discs
be?
Alabama 3, Bruce Springsteen, Metallica, at least one Eminem-CD, probably Enya as well (I know, it’s a strange combination, who cares?), Patsy Cline, CCR, Leonard Cohen, Placebo – uhm, how many are that?

03. If you were a smell what would it be?
Now that is a strange question. Seriously. Who thinks up questions like that?
I haven’t got a clue what I would be. What I would like to be would be something like vanilla scent, or woodsmoke, or fresh pine needles.

04. What bird would you most like to be?
A falcon. They are fast and beautiful and deadly, but not as flashy as eagles. Exactly my kind of bird.

05. If you were a bird who’s head would you poo on?
Oh god, where to start? See, that’s exactly why I would have to be fast – there are just so many people who could use a bit of shit on their head, because they already have so much shit in their heads. )

06. Are there any foods that your body craves?
Sweets. Copious amounts of sweets.
And cigarettes, but I guess they don’t count as food. Too bad.

07. What’s your favourite time of year?
At the moment I would say autumn. I just love the crisp air, the colorful foliage, but most of all the surety that summer is finally over.
If you asked me that question again in 5 weeks I’d probably say winter, because by then I’ll have enough of autumn rain and grey skies and want to see snow. Ask me in February I’d say spring, because I am fed up with the darkness and cold and can’t wait to hear birds singing again and see the first flowers.
The only answer I am never likely to give is summer, because although I like long lazy summer nights as much as anybody, generally speaking I am just not a fan of summer.

08. What’s your favourite time of day?
I used to be quite a morning person. Up at dawn and watching the sunrise, seeing the world wake up and all that stuff. But since I got used to staying up so late at night (I rarely go to bed before midnight) I have turned into a night-owl. So, I’d say my favorite time nowadays is between 11p.m. and midnight, when everybody else is in bed and I have got the house to myself.

09. If a rest is as good as a change which would you choose?
Always a change. I am so easily bored by any routine that I am always hungry for a change.

10. If you could have a dinner party and invite any 5 people from the past or present who would they be? (Living or deceased.)
Definitely Joss Whedon, because he is just a genius with words and there are so many questions about Firefly I still want to ask him.
James Morrison, because I had a major crush on him as Col. McQueen, and I am still trying to get my head around the idea that he was a circus clown and tight-rope walker, and he writes poetry and is a yoga-instructor. There are defintely a lot of things I’d like to talk about with him.
Angelina Jolie, mainly just to look at her. I wouldn’t even mind if she brought Brad along. ;o)
Hugh Laurie, because he is one of the funniest guys I know of. And I’d love to tease him about his status as a sex symbol all through the evening just to see him blush every time. LOL
Michael Marshall Smith, because I like the way his mind works and I would like to discuss his books with him for hours.
